This popular water hole is perfect for a quick swim or picnic. The waters are shallow, making it the perfect place to bring the family. The water is chilly though so be sure to bring some warm towels. Also recommended are water shoes since the floor of the swimming whole is almost exclusively rocks and scraping on the feet are common if water shoes are not worn. The park is open Sunday through Thursday from 9 am to 8 pm and then Friday through Saturdays from 9 am to 9 pm. The park is open only seasonally so make sure that your are visiting sometime in between Memorial Day and Labor day. The park is most busy from 11 am to 1 pm so if you want to avoid the rush try to avoid those hours. For those wanting to swim the price is 10 dollars per car. When it comes to staying at the park big cabins are 40 per night, small cabins are 25 per night, and RV rentals are 65 per night. These may change depending on the park's status, but are the general prices. Be sure to reserve your stay ahead of time since there are only two large cabins and two small cabins. For those wanting to stay in an RV, but don't have one they also offer one Rental RV. All cabins are Air Conditioned as well as their one RV for rent. Guests coming to stay will need to provide their own sheets and linens as the cabins do not provide them. The big Cabin does have a restroom while the small cabins do not. Their facilities include a concessions stand for those wanting a snack. The variety and type of snacks vary, but they are known to generally sell corn dogs, hot dogs, hamburgers, sodas, and a variety of sweets. The Swimming hole itself has craw fish which man guests enjoy catching for fun.
