Private vessels will need to launch at Peavine or Round Hollow (long trip launch).
Personal vehicles and private vessels are not allowed at our short trip launch location.

Reservations are required to guarantee floats on Saturdays; please call to verify your arrival times.
Lodging, RV, and camping reservations do not include a float trip.
Float trips must be booked separately for the day you would like to float.
Float trips are only good for the day of reservation.

Peyton's Place is the oldest canoe camp on the Illinois River and is located at 10298 N HWY 10, Tahlequah, OK 74464. Featuring accommodations that fit every budget and style, Peyton's Place offers air conditioned cottages for singles, couples or small families, a large 48-bed lodge for groups, a RV park, electric campsites, and primitive campsites for those who want to "rough it" in the great outdoors.

Peyton's Place offers a variety of kayak, canoe and raft trips on the Illinois River to meet the needs of every group or individual wanting to enjoy a float trip. There are plenty of canoes, rafts and kayaks to handle any size group up to about 1,300 persons. Trips can be arranged for various lengths and skill levels, from a few miles to multiple days. THE BUNKHOUSE

A beautiful group lodge is available for larger gatherings. The lodge includes 48 beds, a meeting room, a kitchen, a fireplace and more, all on the banks of the beautiful, scenic Illinois River.

CABINS

Air conditioned cabins with kitchenettes for couples or small families. These are small and reasonably priced structures which afford a cozy and private atmosphere for your time away from the river.

CAMPGROUND

Our large and accommodating area for tent camping has trees that provide shade as well as a wind buffer. Campsites feature picnic tables, raised charcoal grills, restroom/ shower facility and easy access.
30 Amp electric campsites are available.

RV PARK

The RV Park features 19 spaces with 50 Amp electrical, sewage and water connections. Evening shade is provided by the nearby scenic bluffs. There is a restroom/shower facility that is shared with the campground.
